The Saints' Faith

God is the one who speaks. The words spoken through the mouth of God can not be separated from the Word that appeared in the image of God. In order for the words of God to enter into the saint’s soul, it must be heard through the physical ears. And in order for the saints to receive the words of God, they must discipline themselves to maintain the godliness in their fleshly lives. Just as a physical exercise is necessary for the benefit of the flesh, godly disciplinary is required to enter the kingdom of God.

The Early Church saints, who lived prior to the book of the New Testament, did not have the written reference in regards to Jesus Christ. But they had been actively experiencing the power of the words. That is because they earnestly listened to the words. They listened to the words of the apostles who had experienced the miracles of God and performed miracles accordingly.

Today's Christians often ignore the words. May be it’s because they have too many opportunities to hear them. However, the Saints must give authority to the words of the Lord. We must correct our attitude towards God's words. We must reveal in our lives the work of God which manifests through His words. God's words give the eternal life to the saints. We, the Saints, must listen to the words with submissive and faithful heart. We hear the word and we put it into action; that is how saints come to have full assurance of faith.

2017 Sungrak Summer Camp: “Jesus Christ’s Healing and Holy Signs” The 25 th of July marked the start of the annual Summer Camp. The theme this year was Jesus Christ’s Healing and Holy Signs . Despite this year’s Summer Camp being particularly caught up amongst difficult times in the church, the wearied Sungrak people had still been waiting with expectancy several weeks before the camp.  The first phase of the Summer Camp (July 25 – 28) took place at the MongSanPo Camp center. Despite the divided state of the church, this year’s Summer Camp turned out to have a large attendance of Sungrak people compared to previous years.  Everyone prayed earnestly that their souls, their families, and their church would be restored. In the spiritual world, a name is identified with its very existence. So it matters when it comes to naming something. Better yet, naming an institution is not an easy task, for it may represent permanently its milestone that sets the direction and the contents of the work of the institution. Though it may seem irrelevant to its name at the beginning, it would eventually follow and reflect the name over time.  In this sense, God changed the name of Abram to Abraham when he still had no children. When God sent His Son to save humans, God gave Him the name Jesus , meaning -- He saves His people from their sins .
